Some time ago I returned from a holiday to Malaysia and I'm happy to be finally sharing some travel snaps with you.
From Kuala Lumpur to Georgetown, this is the land of multi-ethnic cultures, balmy beaches, steamy jungles, buzzing cities, street side hawker food and trishaws. Home to a collision of cultures, the beauty of Malaysia lies in the fusion of it all.
It's Malay, Chinese and Indian temples, British colonial buildings and Islamic architecture, thread together making Malaysia a fascinating place to wander. And then there’s the food. A culinary feast with Chinese-Malay rice and noodles, Indian curries, Chinese buffets and Malay food stalls in abundance. Malaysia also holds some of the most pristine beaches of the world. Stunningly covered in swaying palms, white sand and crystal blue water, there’s not much to do except lay on the beach and swim all day. I was in paradise!
Malaysia more than lives up to its official slogan 'truly Asia'. A beautiful and often an underrated country – Malaysia has it all.
