Something to celebrate: tti magazine

tickle the imagaination magazine spread - celebrate issue

One of my favourite things to do on a Saturday morning, with a freshly brewed cup of coffee, is catch up on my blog reading. In particular, this gorgeous filled crafty magazine published by tickle the imagination, is one of my favourites.

The celebrations issue is now freshly released in print but still available to read online. Featuring  talented Australian artists, crafters and designers, this issue is filled with beautiful ideas and inspiration and the pictures are gorgeously lovely.

Besides the crafty diy tutorials, inspiring interviews, lovely fashion, and food photography, the well-layed out spreads, and soft, candy colours, caught my attention. I’m especially fond of the typefaces and pull-out elements used throughout to create a seamlessly lush and feminine magazine.

Check out the celebration issue mag - it oozes creativity... Really good stuff!

Shapes of Cities by Yoni Alter

Take a look at this wonderful series of minimalist illustrations bursting with color and shapes by artist Yoni Alter. These gorgeous prints featuring cities' landmarks are accurate to scale, and I just love testing my knowledge trying to guess the famous landmarks.

The series includes 14 cities around the world, including places like Shanghai, New York, London, Paris, Sydney, and Tokyo. From the Eiffel Tower to the Statue of Liberty, viewing these posters is like taking a quick tour around the world. I've been lucky enough to not only visit these cities below, but live in one too!

This is an ongoing series, so follow Yoni on Tumblr for new cities updates!
