Hayley + Wes' special day

On January 5th, my girlfriend, Hayley, got married. Hayley and I have known each other our entire lives. Literally. Our moms were friends before we were born. We went to the same schools. We played sport together. Got in trouble as teenagers together. We even moved to London together, where she eventually met her boy...

The wedding was a beautiful day, full of colour and so much love and laughter... I am so excited to share photos of their special day with you!

I heart etsy australia

I absolutely love the wonderful work and creativity of Australian artisans and sellers. To celebrate Australia Day, I've put together a collection of my favourite home grown shops and their aussie inspired items. Australia really does have a lot of talent and I think that's something to be proud of!

Happy Australia Day!

Over the summer, in between family and friend gatherings and swimming at the beach, I spent a lot of my time updating little miss gee's website. As usual, I underestimated the amount of time it would take. One day become two and then three. In the end, it took a lot more, it was quite an overhaul, but I can stop now because it feels right.

At times like this, I wish I had learnt how to design for web, and then perhaps the process would take a fraction of the time! However, I'm absolutely delighted with the result and I hope you are too? Check it out here at

It's a vibrant summer

Hello summer... This month has certainly been hot. I'm trying to keep cool by staying in the shade, but I think it will be time for a swim once this post is written. I'm lucky enough to be close to some of the most beautiful beaches in Victoria, and no matter how hot it is, I can always find a deserted beach with crystal clear water and scorching hot sand.

I want to share with you with my collection of summer inspired finds, that has been featured on Down that Little Lanes blog, and you can buy it all from Down that Little Lane too! I would have to say my favourite is the Moroccan Light Fitting by The Family Love Tree, mainly because I've always wanted to buy one, but have never had the space to hang it.

I hope you have all had a fabulous 2012. I for one have had a blast, learnt so much and had so many of my hopes and dreams come true that I have nothing left to do but smile. It's that time of year where most of us re-evaluate our goals and I'm excited and looking forward to achieving those bigger hopes and dreams for 2013.

For me this summer, I've taken some quality time out from work, and it's beginning to feel like an endless summer. I've been spending time with family and friends, having lazy days at the beach, doing a little sewing, working on some new fabrics designs and dreaming up new ideas I will be sharing with you shortly…
